PC servicing / repair doesn’t just mean hardware failure and hardware support. Many times computers break down due to software problems or software/driver incompatibility.
We specialise in all editions of Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, 2003, XP, XPMC, Vista and any future releases!
Whether your PC problem is hardware or software related, a technician will call out at your home/premises with all required tools and testing hardware. The problem will be determined and explained to you in plain English and what has to be done to rectify it. You will be given a quote and an estimated time frame.
Many problems can be fixed/solved onsite. However the more extensive/complex jobs may have to be carried out at our workshop. If this is the case, your PC will be returned back to you at the earliest possible time. Most callouts are carried out the very same day, otherwise within a 24hour period, this of course depending on our workload.
- Data Backup From £35.00
We take data backup very seriously! This means that any data you wish to keep will be backed up before any work is carried out on the system. This can include backing up documents, pictures, music, emails, address book etc. We also have facilities to attempt to recover data in case you have lost or accidentally deleted something important. Please ring and ask about this service.
- Upgrades From £10.00
Upgrades can be a quick and cost effective way of giving your PC a new lease of life, allowing you to run latest games and applications which demand more power.
Motherboard, processor, memory and hard drive upgrades can improve PC performance and ensure compatibility with today's demanding applications and games.
Other things to consider include components such as CDROM, CDRW, DVDROM, DVDRW, graphics card, sound card, modem, USB2, ethernet card and other numerous expansion cards.
We offer upgrades to suit customers needs and budget. We will ask you what it is that you would like to do with your system and we will recommend the right components to suit your needs and budget. - Maintenance Contract From £10.00 per PC p.m.
We provide tailored Maintenance Solutions. A dedicated maintenance product manager can identify the best maintenance solutions for your computing environment, across any number of manufacturers, and you will be able to set your own Service Level Agreement so that you have peace of mind that your systems will be operational again within the boundaries that are acceptable to your organisation. When you take out a maintenance contract with PC Home Doctor you will be sent a detailed annual maintenance contract listing all equipment covered and service levels selected. PC Home Doctor will also send you your renewal contract 120 days prior to renewal to give you time to budget for ongoing maintenance. PC Home Doctor consultants can be engaged to help in all areas of IT infrastructure and security implementation, including Active Directory on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 & Exchange 2003, storage & backup, server-based (thin-client) & wireless computing, Internet security and information security risk assessment and management.
